Joseph D. Ambrose

Joseph was born about 1852 in Ohio.¹ Joseph's father was William Ambrose and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Hurtt. His paternal grandparents were Solomon Ambrose and Sarah Wolfe. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, George, Charles, Sarah and Mary. He was the second oldest of the six children.
