Margaret "Peggy" Ambrose

Margaret, known as Peggy, was born on March 30th, 1766 in Frederick County, Maryland.¹   Peggy's father was William Henry Ambrose and her mother is Sarah. She had ten brothers and a sister, named Mathias, William, Peter, Henry, Philip, John, Frederick, Jacob, Daniel, Solomon and Catherine.  She was the second oldest of the twelve children.  She died before 1843 in West Virginia.²
