Susan Ambrose

Susan was born about 1839 in Champaign County, Ohio.¹   Susan's father was Frederick Ambrose and her mother was Mary Ann Poff.  Her paternal grandfather was William Henry Ambrose and her paternal grandmother is Sarah. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Gatch, John, James, Elizabeth and Rebecca.  She was the second youngest of the six children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jacob, Peter, Newton and Margaret.
