William Ambrose

William was born on March 15th, 1810 in Berkeley County, Virginia. William's father was Mathias Ambrose and his mother was Rosanna Clover. His paternal grandfather was William Henry Ambrose and his paternal grandmother is Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Philip A Clover and Elizabeth. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named David, Ticey, John, Henry, George, Joseph, Margaret, Martha, Polly, Rosanna, Hannah, Susannah and Lucy. He was the fourth youngest of the fourteen children.
