William Eliphaz Ambrose

William was born about 1844 in Pickaway County, Ohio. William's father was Rev. Mathias Ambrose and his mother was Sarah M. Perkins. His paternal grandparents were Rev. William Hanby Ambrose and Susanna B. Crum. He had five brothers and a sister, named Levi, Lewis, Henry, George, John and Lydia. He was the third youngest of the seven children.
