James Travis 
James was born in 1760 in Baltimore County, Maryland. James' father was Thomas Travis and his mother was Barbara Green. His paternal grandparents were John Travis and Nancy Copeland. He had three brothers named John, Beverly and Jeremiah. He was the oldest of the four children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William, Jeremiah, Thomas, Elizabeth, Catherine, Nancy and Hannah. He died at the age of 79 in 1839 in Shelby County, Kentucky.General Notes
