Jane Utter 
Jane was born on June 17th, 1799 in Blount or Knox Co.,TN. Jane's father was Abraham Utter and her mother was Martha Lycan. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Abraham, Samuel, Joseph, Thomas, William, Jeremiah, James, Martha, Hettie, Sarah and Mary Polly. She died at the age of 72 on October 14th, 1871. She was buried in Hogue Cemetery,Washington Township,Wayne Co.,IA.General Notes
Jane Utter's gravestone, accoding to the Wayne County Iowa Cemetery Book, published in 1979, page 288, gives Jane Utter's birth date as December 6, 1798.
