Martin Van Buren Van Valkenburg

Martin was born on April 12th, 1835 in Semphronius, Cayuga County, New York. Martin's father was Bartholomew Van Valkenburgh and his mother was Ruth Phelps Crandall. His paternal grandparents were Bartholomeus Van Valkenburgh and Catherine Pruyn. He had three sisters named Catherine, Ruth and Huldah. He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Wilburforce, Estella and Emily. He died at the age of 2 on October 12th, 1837.
