Joseph W. Ambrose

Joseph was born in 1840 in Highland County, Ohio. Joseph's father was George Ambrose and his mother was Margaret "Polly" Rizer. His paternal grandparents were Rev. William Hanby Ambrose and Susanna B. Crum; his maternal grandparents were Rev. Mathias G. Rizer and Mary Michael. He had four brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Lewis, James, John, Isaac, Katherine, Susannah, E., Emma, Elizabeth and Ambrose. He died before 1887.¹
