Lewis R. Ambrose 
Lewis was born on October 15th, 1852 in Virginia.1 Lewis' father was Lewis Ambrose and his mother was Elizabeth Hawkins. His paternal grandparents were John Bell Ambrose Sr and Elizabeth "Betsy" Crum. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Christian, Henry, Francis, Hiram, Sarah, Lucy and Eliza. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 53 on December 7th, 1905.2 -
