Lucy E. Ambrose

Lucy was born on October 31st, 1837 in Frederick County, Virginia.¹ Lucy's father was Lewis Ambrose and her mother was Elizabeth Hawkins. Her paternal grandparents were John Bell Ambrose Sr and Elizabeth "Betsy" Crum. She had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Christian, Henry, Francis, Hiram, Lewis, Sarah and Eliza. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 73 on June 12th, 1911.¹
