Samuel Wesley Ambrose 
Samuel was born on February 22nd, 1849 in Hillsboro, Highland County, Ohio. Samuel's father was Rev. Lewis Duckwall Ambrose and his mother was Nancy Lieb. His paternal grandparents were Rev. William Hanby Ambrose and Susanna B. Crum. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Daniel, William, Mathias, Jacob, David, George, Hugh, Catherine, Susanna and Mary. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 65 in 1914 in Missoula, Montana.1 -
