Susanna Crum Ambrose 
Susanna was born on November 15th, 1840 in Hillsboro, Highland County, Ohio. Susanna's father was Rev. Lewis Duckwall Ambrose and her mother was Nancy Lieb. Her paternal grandparents were Rev. William Hanby Ambrose and Susanna B. Crum. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, William, Mathias, Samuel, Jacob, David, George, Hugh, Catherine and Mary. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 5 on January 22nd, 1846 in Hillsboro, Highland County, Ohio. She was buried in Ambrose Cemetery, Newmarket Twp, Highland County, Ohio.1 1 Death Notes
Ruth Ambrose Stennett says she drowned in a spring near the house.
