Elizabeth Medaris 
Elizabeth was born about 1827. Elizabeth's father was George Washington Medaris and her mother was Elizabeth Salter. Her paternal grandparents were Oliver Medaris and Wilmuth Redmond. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William, Oliver, Elijah, Levi, Jesse, George, Synthia, Hester, Lib, Matilda and Mary. She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. She had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Zachariah, Charles, Gideon, Thomas, Chemiah, Eli, Manerva, Ruth and Martha.-
